April 2005 the first semi-annual all employee Olympics was held with ten events. We now have 15 standing committees to organise the playoffs and final events over the course of a week.

Typically hosted by the Namnyak Village (one of two staff ‘villages’) on the western side of the farm estate. The verdant valley is a special location to enjoy the final day long event. Playoff games are held in the proceeding six days.  Most final contest are held on the last day. Travellers are welcome to watch or participate in most games. Join in the lunch and dinner banquet or enjoy your own picnic lunch if you prefer.

Awards are bestowed to the winners of each event. Previously they have been shuka cloths in the color of one’s culture.  Final games for the * noted contests are held on the second to last day to allow everyone to participate.  Three quarters of the employee usually participate making for a lively game and meal time.
